What Is A Voting Method?
Many people don't realize that there are many ways to vote and democracies get to select which to use.   From the beginning, our democracy settled on Choose-one voting.   Choose-one is simple and works fine when there are just two candidates, but can fail miserably when there are more than two.  The most visible mode of failure is the vote-split which happens dozens of times in each election in the Bay Area.

What Is Approval Voting?
Approval Voting is the easiest way to fix the problem.   It is free, easy to understand, and doesn't require a constitutional amendment.   You just replace the words "Vote for one" with "Vote for all you like".  Easy, but amazingly effective.   Approval Voting has been well studied and recently was voted into law in St. Louis by a 68% majority.
